Overview
Maintain all Mechanical Systems related to the Rolling Process.
Responsibilities
- Rotating shift work including nights and weekends
- Welding, Cutting, and Fabrication
- Maintain all Mechanical Systems related to the Rolling Process
- Troubleshoot and repair of High Pressure Hydraulic Systems
- Rigging, Crane, and Mobile Equipment operation
- Read and interpret Blue Prints and Piping Diagrams
- Work with Operations/Maintenance groups to ensure continued production
- Work with computer based Maintenance Systems
Qualifications
- Safety Oriented
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior Mechanical Maintenance experience in some or all of the following areas: Welding & Fabricating, Industrial Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Manual & Automatic Lubrication Systems, Water Systems, Pipe Fitting, Rigging, Bearing & Coupling replacement, Ability to read prints and schematics
- Strong willingness to learn
- Understanding of Physics (Heat Transfer, Fluid Flow, Force and Power Transmission)
- Understanding of Mathematics (Geometry, Trigonometry)
- Willing to work Scheduled and Non-scheduled overtime
- Strong Teamwork Focus
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Ability to multi-task & prioritize assignments with production needs
- At least 2 years of Mechanical Maintenance Experience
