JOB SUMMARY |
|
Under the direct supervision of the Shift Lead and the general supervision of the Production Supervisor, a Hose Operator assists with the day to day running of the non-extrusion lines within the Hose Department per individual line process, specifications and schedule. |
|
|
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES |
|
- Set up / Tear down assigned lines following established procedures.
- Maintain line production by monitoring equipment per procedure and specification.
- Prepare/Maintain daily process / production reports / travel cards.
- Report KPI (key process inputs) as needed and maintain a good line of communication with Shift Lead / co-workers.
- Maintain clean / safe work area following safety procedures and 5S movement.

OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES |

- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or management to meet the needs of the organization.

SKILLS & ABILITIES |
|
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Capable of following written / verbal instructions.
- Able to use calipers / similar measurement instruments.
- Organized / detail oriented with a high degree of attention / care to prevent injury to self or others.
- Has a co-operative attitude towards co-workers / supervision.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS |
|
- Six – twelve months of similar work experience.
|
|
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS ESSNTIAL TO PERFORM THE DUTIES OF THE JOB |
|
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs. at any one time.
