Job Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Home Inspector to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties, assessing overall condition, and identifying potential issues. This role is critical in delivering accurate, comprehensive, and professional inspection reports to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of residential properties including homes, apartments, and condominiums

• Evaluate structural integrity, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC systems, roofing, and other property components

• Perform quality inspections to ensure properties meet established standards and safety requirements

• Collect inspection data and document findings using inspection software and reporting tools

• Identify defects, damages, maintenance concerns, and safety hazards while recommending corrective actions

• Prepare clear, accurate, and detailed inspection reports for clients

• Communicate inspection findings professionally and answer client questions regarding property conditions

• Maintain high standards of accuracy, professionalism, and customer service throughout the inspection process

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of residential construction practices and inspection procedures

• Understanding of quality control standards within the construction and housing industry

• Experience with data collection, documentation, and reporting tools

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify property defects and safety concerns

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections efficiently

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive pay: $42,000 - $79,909 per year
