Job Overview:

Position Overview

We are seeking a Hoist Technician with a strong electrical background to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hoists and industrial lifting equipment to support safe, efficient operations. Your electrical expertise will help diagnose complex issues, complete accurate repairs, and maintain compliance with applicable safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, schematics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and motor controls.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings to support accurate assembly and repairs.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment during installation and repair processes.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience preferred.

  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.

  • Experience with motor controls and industrial electrical systems.

  • Familiarity with rigging and working at heights preferred.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. and work in industrial manufacturing environments.

  • Proven electrical experience with industrial equipment, including:- Electrical wiring

    • Schematics
    • PLCs
    • CNC systems
    • Power tools
  • Mechanical knowledge of manufacturing machinery, fabrication techniques, assembly processes, and precision measurement instruments.

  • Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing setting.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

This position is based in a manufacturing environment and requires the ability to safely work around industrial equipment while following all applicable safety procedures and standards.
