Avalign Technologies is holding a hiring event for CNC Mill and Lathe Operators! We are looking to hire both experienced and entry level machinists. We have openings on all shifts.

Come visit us in-person at 7124 Industrial Park Blvd, Mentor, OH 44060 on Thursday, September 4th between 11:00a-1:00p or between 3:00p-5:00p for on-the-spot interviews!

We are willing to provide training for entry level machinists!

**What You'll Do: **

• Independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot Star CNC Swiss machines to produce precision medical implants.
• Perform machine offsets, tool changes, and adjustments as needed to maintain tight tolerances.
• Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and work instructions to ensure parts meet customer specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators to inspect machined parts.
• Perform routine maintenance and daily preventative maintenance (P.M.) on machines.
• Document production activities, including first-piece inspection logs, maintenance records, and work orders.
• Follow strict quality control procedures, including ID & traceability protocols.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize machining processes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with 5S principles.

What You'll Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification a plus).
• Min 1 year of experience reading blueprints.
• Min 1 year of GD&T experience, measuring tolerances using micrometers, calipers and gauges
• Min 1 year of operating and setting up CNC machines, preferred but not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
