Day Shift - Pay Rate: up to $22.00/hour
Job Summary of the Hi-Lo Driver position:
The Hi-Lo Driver is responsible for safely operating forklifts (hi-lo equipment) to move, load, unload, and organize automotive parts and materials within a manufacturing or warehouse environment. This role supports production by ensuring timely material flow and maintaining inventory accuracy while adhering to safety and quality standards.

This role supports production by ensuring timely material flow and maintaining inventory accuracy while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities of the Hi-Lo Driver:
- Operate hi-lo/forklift equipment to transport materials, components, and finished goods
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers in a safe and efficient manner
- Supply production lines with required automotive parts and remove finished goods
- Stack and store materials is designated warehouse or staging areas
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues
- Follow all safety regulations, including OSHA and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track materials
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and handling of automotive components
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards (5S standards)
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties as needed
Required Skills of the Hi-Lo Driver:
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Experience in the automotive or supply chain operations (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic math and inventory tracking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Required Education/Experience of the Hi-Lo Driver:
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
- Valid forklift/Hi-Lo certification
