Job Details:
This position is responsible for intermediate operative general labor such as operating machinery, heavy lifting and maintaining production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Tasks:
Skilled positions involve the use of knives, hooks, and the proper wearing of PPE. These positions require physical labor, including standing for extended periods (up to eight hours or more) at a table or elevated platform, and/or working on a moving table or chain. The work environment may vary, with conditions that can be cold, hot, or humid.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson have a 180 days rehire waiting period and a 3 time limit.
Requirements:
Must have 1 month prior experience in a meat processing facility.
Experience in one of the following jobs is preferred:
HARVEST: 1st Legger, 2nd Legger, 1st Butter, 2nd Butter, Low Backer, Head Dropper, Gullet Raiser, Split Saw Operator, Gutter.
PROCESSING: Pull Clod, Bone Chuck, Bone Arm, Bone Rib, Pull Tenders, Pull 13th Rib, Pull Finger/Button Bones, Bone Tops, Seam Rounds.
