Heavy Equipment Operator – Front End Loader

Position: Heavy Equipment Operator / Front End Loader Operator

Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift

Location: Nashville Area

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to operate a front-end loader in a busy outdoor yard environment. This position is responsible for safely moving, loading, and organizing bulk materials while assisting with daily yard operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a front-end loader

• Load materials into customer and company trucks

• Move and organize bulk materials throughout the yard

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Perform basic pre-shift equipment inspections

• Monitor equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns

• Follow all safety procedures and operating guidelines

• Assist with general yard duties as needed

• Work safely around trucks, equipment, customers, and other employees

Requirements

• Previous front-end loader or heavy equipment operating experience required

• Ability to safely maneuver equipment in an active yard environment

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions

• Dependable attendance and punctuality

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Comfortable working in a physically active environment

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has previous experience operating a front-end loader, wheel loader, or similar heavy equipment and is comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Strong attention to safety, reliability, and equipment awareness are essential for this position.
