The Company is headquartered in Katy, Texas, and has an office located in Reno, Nevada. 

This position is located in Lovelock, NV. 


The purpose of the Heavy Equipment Operator is to excavate and move diatomaceous earth, dirt, rock, sand and other raw materials. 



  • Responsible for the safe operation of equipment, follow all traffic rules on and off the company property  
  • Actively engage in safety discussions with supervisors and coworkers  
  • Meet and exceed productivity standards in a timely manner and adapt to changes in the work environment  
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.   
  • Maintain telephone or radio contact with Supervisor to receive instructions  
  • Inspect equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water  
  • Inspect equipment for defects before, during and after shifts and submit a report indicating equipment condition.  
  • Follow all federal and state safety regulations and company safety policies/procedures  
  • Keep the equipment clean and presentable  
  • Perform equipment maintenance as required  
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both written and verbal in the English language when performing the job requirements  


  • High School diploma or equivalent 


  • Strong safety record required  
  • Prior heavy equipment operation experience preferred  
  • Gather and analyze information skillfully and with alternate solutions in mind when necessary  
  • Up to date knowledge of laws and compliance regulations  
  • CDL (Commercial Driver s License) experience preferred
