**Shift: *First shift* / **6 AM – 3 PM

**Duration: **6-month Contract-to-Hire

Job description

The Heavy Equipment Operator supports production and material movement activities by safely operating a variety of heavy equipment used in structural assembly, loading, unloading, and transportation of materials within the facility and job site. This role plays a critical part in maintaining project schedules, supporting safe and efficient workflow, and ensuring equipment is operated in accordance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations. The Heavy Equipment Operator is also responsible for identifying and reporting mechanical or safety concerns, completing required equipment inspections and logs, and assisting with general labor tasks as needed to support operational goals.
