Heavy Equipment Operator

Pay: $15.00–$20.00 per hour (DOE – Depending on Experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Bossier City, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machinery in construction, excavation, or site development projects. Operators should be committed to producing quality work while maintaining a safe job site.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, skid steers, loaders, backhoes, rollers, and other construction equipment.
• Perform grading, excavation, trenching, site preparation, and material handling.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
• Identify and report equipment maintenance or repair needs.
• Follow project plans, specifications, and supervisor instructions.
• Work alongside laborers and other crew members to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
• Ability to safely operate multiple types of construction equipment.
• Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Ability to read grade stakes, plans, and work instructions is a plus.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
