Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy construction equipment and machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
• Inspect equipment for safety and operational concerns
• Complete preventative maintenance services
• Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulic systems
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Previous heavy equipment mechanic experience preferred
• Knowledge of CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, or similar equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors when needed
• Valid driver’s license preferred
