Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic / Diesel Technician to join our shop in Hudsonville, MI. This role focuses on repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of heavy-duty vehicles.

We are looking for someone with strong electrical and diagnostic skills, or solid experience in steering, suspension, and brake systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and fleet vehicles
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
• Perform repairs involving brakes, suspension, steering, and related systems
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and safety standards
• Work effectively as part of a professional team

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of diesel engine repair experience (required)
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience (required)
• Strong diagnostic skills (electrical experience preferred)
• OR strong experience in brakes, steering, and suspension systems
• Must have a complete set of hand tools
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• preferred ASE certifications, or willingness to get them.
