Job Description

JOB DUTIES: 

• Measure, mark, and write temperatures and reference points on material/work pieces
• Select, align, and secure fixtures and stamp position numbers.
• Calculate and set controls to regulate temperatures and pressures: speed, gas pressure, and part clearance, and enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit machine control programs.
• Manufacture parts and components within the specified tolerances, with limited scrap and in time with the production schedule
• Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions and adjust machine controls as required 
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and quality standards
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures 
• May perform duties such as stenciling, cleaning, and assisting the operators in the building to ensure production runs smoothly.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to keep the operation running smoothly
• Train new employees and cross-train in other areas.

 EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS: 

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Basic computer skills
• High attention to detail  
• Ability to communicate and work safely in a team-oriented environment
