Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Heat Treat Division Lead to join our team at Weiss Industries. As the Division Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the Heat Treat operations and ensuring the highest quality standards are met by using best practices and technical resources.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Heat Treat team, including personnel reviews
• Responsible for overall cleanliness and organization of the division, including maintaining OSHA compliance
• Maintain calibration schedule
• Manage Heat Treat inventory
• Perform quality checks to verify job specifications (e.g., case depth, hardness)
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments (e.g., HR, Plant Management)
• Implement and maintain efficient processes in the Heat Treat division, in compliance with ISO 9001 standards

Qualifications

• Experience working in Heat Treat
• Proficiency in metallurgical review
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with ISO 9001 certification
• Leadership and people management skills
• Experience with Visual Shop or similar program is a plus
