Heat Transfer Manufacturing Technician

Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to support the production of industrial heat transfer components. This role involves working with metal tubing and related materials used in industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabrication, machine operation, quality inspections, and reading production documents.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication equipment to cut, bend, shape, and assemble metal tubing and components.
• Perform inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and tape measures to ensure product quality.
• Conduct pressure and leak testing on finished products and assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications.
• Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and production supplies.
• Assist with material handling, packaging, and shipment preparation.
• Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards.
• Support general production activities as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in heavy metal fabrication, pipe fitting, or machine operation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• Familiarity with metallurgy and tube manipulation techniques (U-bending, specialty finning)

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.
