Role Overview

The Systems Engineering Technical Leader will lead and guide systems engineering activities for next-generation avionics solutions. This role involves defining system approaches, developing architectures, coordinating integration activities, and ensuring compliance with aerospace certification requirements and established engineering processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading the development of certified aerospace or other complex regulated systems, along with the ability to influence technical decisions and collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical leader in systems engineering, defining and refining engineering approaches to meet customer and program requirements.
• Lead system definition, architecture development, and integration planning.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and program teams to ensure successful system development and integration.
• Ensure compliance with engineering processes, certification requirements, and program design plans.
• Contribute to product strategy, technology roadmaps, and future business pursuits.
• Guide technical decisions and coordinate cross-functional engineering teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.
• Leadership experience developing certified aerospace or other complex regulated systems.
• Demonstrated experience creating or contributing to system architectures.
• Experience collaborating across multiple engineering domains.
