Job Description

What a great opportunity for an experienced machinist! We are looking for someone to set up and operate T-42 Hardinge Machines, while also operating additional single spindle CNC machine for secondary operation(s). You will be responsible for prioritizing work in your area to meet daily production goals. If you are self-directed and collaborate well as part of a small team this could be the job for you!

Responsibilities Include:

• Organize production orders in the work center
• Measure and visually inspect finished parts for compliance with drawings
• Operate single spindle machine for secondary operations
• Maintain clean and clutter free work environment
• Change tubes, collets, chucks, and stamps as necessary
• Scan production orders and send the programs to the machines
• Perform secondary operation on parts, such as cleaning and sanding
• Perform other tasks as needed to further our company's goals and uphold our commitments 

**Day shift Monday - Fridays only, no nights or weekends**

**HVAC climate-controlled environment**

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Milling machine/ CNC machinist experience
• Experience using micrometers
• FANUC experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints/ drawings preferred
• Able to work accurately with high level of attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize workload
• Good computer skills
• Able to work independently with little direction
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to sit or stand, walk and reach throughout a 10-hour shift
• Good manual dexterity

This role operates in a manufacturing facility where conditions may include exposure to loud noise, fluctuating temperatures (hot or cold), and moving machinery. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. The position involves walking, standing, and occasional lifting of materials.
