Job Description

A leading manufacturing company is hiring a Hand Welder to join their team. This role involves welding tubing and components using MIG and TIG techniques in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and weld tubing and related parts according to blueprints and technical drawings.
• Confirm dimensions and quality of finished welds using precise measurement tools.
• Prepare and set up hydraulic tube assemblies and fixtures before welding operations.
• Inspect completed welds for defects, including cracks or incomplete fusion.
• Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment to ensure proper operation and safety.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of welding experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings accurately.
• Proficiency with MIG/TIG welding on various metals.
• Skilled in using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers for quality control.
• Knowledge of welding standards, safety procedures, and equipment maintenance.

Eligibility requires working over 30 hours per week on an assignment lasting at least 10 weeks.
