The Opportunity:

 

The Gummy R&D Document Control Administrator performs duties that require moderate judgement to maintain critical R&D documents in an organized and efficient manner necessary to assist the manufacturing department. The Gummy R&D Document Control Administrator will work with other departments such as Quality Control, Purchasing, Planning, Customer Account, Safety Department regarding SDS and other documents needed to ensure the proper running of products by the manufacturing team. He/she will process the documents with all necessary signatures and process through normal channels to the responsible departments. The Gummy R&D Document Control Administrator reports directly to the Director, Gummy Product Development.


 

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining of New Raw Material Specifications, including collecting, reviewing and filling of all supporting documents.
  • Responsible for building formula Bill of Material (BOM) through collaborating with Gummy Formulation Scientist or gummy Formulator.
  • Responsible for routing  document change controls and deviations and following them through completion.
  • Assist Gummy Formulation Scientist or Gummy Formulator to proofread documentation including Bulk Specification, Product Label Information and Manufacturing Direction.
  • Acquainted with current FDA nutritional/supplement fact information and standards.
  • Coordinate daily interface with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Planning, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Customer Account as required.
  • Must practice company cGMPs; follows SOPs, safety procedures and precautions at all times when working with equopment, raw materials, formulas, or other hazardous environmental conditions. 
  • Individuals must be professional, committed, detail oriented, multi-tasked and possess good mathematical, written, clerical and organizational skills.
  • Must demonstrate a high level of self confidence and common sense.
  • Will work with support services, QA/QC for assisting and customer projects as required.
  • Must be willing to assist where needed to support cross-functioning departments.
  • Will be asked to attend ongoing in-house trainings and occasionally off site as required.
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.                                                                                                                                    


What You'll Bring:

  • High School Diploma or minimum of one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Computer literacy is required in this position.
  • Must possess a solid work track record with being detailed oriented with the ability to multi-taks.
  • Must be able to work in an occasionally fast-paced environment as needed.
  • Possess good mathematical, written and clerical organizational skills.
  • Must be professional, committed to learning and achieving at a high level necessary in a high-profile department.
  • Must be reliable and possess a solid attendance record.

 A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00. The compensation offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and/or education.
