Job Opportunity: Grower Relations - Cranberry Field Representative 

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Key Responsibilities 

 

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with cranberry growers, farm managers, and other agriculture professionals through consistent year-round communication.
  • Responsible for working with the Grower Relations Manager to evaluate grower relationships to ensure the organization is well positioned for long-term quality fruit needs.
  • Oversee IPM actions such as scouting and conducting research 
  • Responsible for maintaining grower records (i.e., pesticide reports, grower averages, etc.)
  • Responsible for harvest related functions (i.e., supplies, bin movements, sample collections, inspecting for mechanical damage, etc.)


Position Requirements:


  • Ideal candidate will have a 2- or 4- year degree in horticulture, agriculture, or cranberry related experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting and speaking in groups
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships
  • Must have experience utilizing data to identify trends in business that supports strategic and tactical adjustments to ongoing situations
