Express Employment is searching for Grain Elevator Operators.

Location:Rochelle, IL

Pay: $18–$23/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, transfer, and store grain
• Monitor grain quality and report issues
• Clean and maintain bins, storage areas, and facility grounds
• Operate grain handling equipment and dryers
• Measure and report grain levels and quality
• Follow OSHA and safety procedures
• Perform basic maintenance and preventative repairs
• Complete required documentation

Grain elevator experience

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic mechanical/mechanical aptitude (electrical or hydraulic a plus)
• Equipment experience (forklift, skid loader, etc.) preferred
• Comfortable working at heights (up to 200 ft)
• Able to work in extreme conditions (heat, cold, dust, confined spaces)
• Physically able to lift, climb, bend, and shovel
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Agricultural experience preferred
