Global Strategic Accounts Manager (P&G) - Beauty and Personal Care.
Summary:
The Strategic Accounts Manager (P&G) – Beauty & Personal Care is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for developing and executing a global growth strategy for one of Momentive’s most critical strategic customers. This role partners closely with cross‑functional teams—including R&D, marketing, product management, and regional commercial leaders—to deliver differentiated, value‑added solutions that strengthen long‑term customer relationships. The successful candidate will lead complex global engagements, influence at senior levels internally and externally, and drive profitable growth through strategic planning, collaboration, and disciplined execution.
This is a fully remote position; however, the ideal candidate will reside in a location in the Midwest.
Responsibilities Include:
- Travel within North America Region and potential Global travel required
- Build relations with R&D and Purchasing group at both the tactical and senior levels at key account/s.
- Embrace a boundaryless approach to our technology offerings at P&G utilizing all of Momentive’s technology assets.
- Develop business strategy, and work towards value added specialty projects in R&D
- Develop long range strategy including asset utilization and regional placement by being an integral part of the internal investment team
- Align and support activities of Momentive Commercial and Marketing specialists in various regions to facilitate and insure penetration into the strategic accounts around the world
- Drive profitable growth at or above Annual Operating Plan (AOP) target levels
- Develop multi-year sales and marketing strategy & tactics
- Ensure execution of the global strategy and remove roadblocks that prevent adoption
- Work closely in conjunction with marketing, technology, product management and Application Development Engineer (ADE) resources to drive results
- Create a vision for the Strategic account team that will drive to providing a “Seamless Customer Interface”
- Maintain a cohesive multifunctional global team that is clear on the overall strategy and is motivated by success.
- Address business challenges that impede the attainment of sales targets by collaborating effectively with teams such as Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP), and Quality.
- Provide regular business updates to management, cross functional teams, and business stakeholders
Qualifications:
The following are required for the role
- Bachelor's degree from a university
- 10 years of professional experience in Sales and/or Marketing
A minimum of up to 50% travel is required on an ongoing basis
Proven record of success with Multinational , Global , Multi-Segment Accounts
- Knowledge of Personal Care market trends, customers, and technologies
- Strong cross-functional manager who can foster teamwork and drive change throughout the organization
- Good leadership competencies, experience in people development
- Proven ability to develop and execute on strategies generating positive results
- Decisive and able to act independently with limited information
- Proven experience in leading negotiations and demanding customer meetings
- Problem solver who can understand the details, without micro-managing results
- Strong influencing skills and ability to convince others
- Must be able to identify and bring to a resolution difficult global problems
- Culturally aware due to various global regions being engaged
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Able to interact at senior levels internally and externally
- Energetic, self-motivated and strong team player
- Proficiency in English is required
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, SAP, CRM-tools (SFA)
The following are preferred for this role
- MBA or equivalent advanced business degree preferred, demonstrating advanced strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and leadership capability.
- Marketing and/or technical experience is a strong plus, especially experience working with R&D, innovation, or technology‑focused teams.
- Proficiency in additional languages is considered a significant asset.

What We Offer:
Base Pay Range: $140,500 - $206,250
The actual salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography. Local geographic pay differentials may not be reflected in the above pay range and will be discussed with you by a member of the HR team when applicable. Additionally, this role is eligible for incentive or sales variable compensation payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company's incentive plans, the Company's financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.
