Job Overview:

The Global Quality Project Engineer is responsible for the digital transformation efforts that will benefit the global quality organization.  These efforts include reviewing software and hardware options, recommending solutions, developing the tools, and rolling them out across the Flow Controls sites, and training personnel on the use and maintenance of the tools.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Identify opportunities to digitize quality operations and find solutions.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing sites to determine needs from digital solutions.  Gain ability to develop tools or work with Enterprise resources or vendors where necessary to develop options.
  • Establish and execute implementation plans.
  • Regular updates to interested parties on the status of digital tools.
  • Train users and develop training tools for long-term sustainability of implemented solutions.
  • Update other Final Control Business Units on progress and opportunities for standardization.
  • Automate dashboarding to reduce administrative workload of the quality organization.
  • Advocate for continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience or, Master’s degree and 3 years of related experience
  • Basic understanding of ISO9001 quality program requirements, along with auditing knowledge and participation. 
  • Proven ability to identify business process improvement opportunities and deploying digital or automated solutions.
  • Experience developing and delivering training for newly implemented processes, systems, or tools.
  • Basic knowledge of FCV Oracle global design
  • Knowledge of other business unit processes, systems, standards and practices relevant to the requirements of the Quality Management System.
  • Fundamental knowledge of PowerBI and Power Automate and a desire to keep up with the latest trends in automation.
  • Experience with Oracle item definition, part serialization, receiving, inspection and nonconforming material processes.
  • Fundamental supplier qualification process knowledge.
  • Experience with other applicable codes and standards such as: PED, NQA-1, RCC-M, ISO19443.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and a minimum of 5 years of related experience
