Job Summary
Vertiv is seeking a detail-oriented and technically curious Global Product Manager – Thermal Systems, to support the Thermal Business Unit (BU), with a primary focus on developing and maintaining reference designs for major server and GPU manufacturers in the AI ecosystem (e.g., Nvidia, AMD, Intel, and emerging AI accelerator vendors).
In this role, you will work under the guidance of senior managers to translate customer Thermal requirements from key chip and server partners into structured reference architectures. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that the company’s thermal solutions are properly documented, validated, and aligned with the reference design roadmaps of leading AI server and GPU platforms from manufacturers such as NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Supermicro, Dell Technologies, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Lenovo.
The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with engineering, advanced development, sales, and strategic customers to support the definition and deployment of scalable thermal solutions for high-density AI data centers. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong technical background, experience in product management or thermal system applications who is looking to grow within a global and fast-evolving market.

The anticipated salary range for this role in the California, New York, Washington, and Washington D.C. locality is between $131,914 to $164,824 per year—salary ranges for other geographic localities may vary. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance and are role based. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to receive and/or participate in profit sharing, allowances, travel and/or car expenses, and earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization depending on the terms of the employee’s role and individual offer details. In addition, this role is eligible for a monthly Sales Incentive plan on a 80/20 split. The role is eligible to participate in a comprehensive and competitive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision, disability, PTO, holiday pay, and 401k.
