Global Category Manager – Fleet
JLL requires a Global Category Manager to take ownership of the sourcing and delivery of key projects within the Fleet category. The individual will work with JLL business leaders and the Global Category Director for Travel & Fleet to determine the appropriate strategy and deliver the sourcing benefits required. This role sits within the Corporate Procurement team and is expected to work across all Regions on a global basis to deliver various projects supporting JLL's fleet of over 4,000 vehicles worldwide. A key focus area will be supporting the transition of our commercial vehicle fleet to electric vehicles as part of JLL's transition to a zero-emission fleet, alongside broader fleet optimization and procurement activities. All procurement is expected to be done in line with JLL standards and practices.
Summary of Essential Functions and Goals
Undertake the sourcing, negotiation, and contract of JLL business requirements on a global basis for the Fleet category
Support the strategic transformation of JLL's fleet of 4,000+ vehicles globally, including the transition to electric vehicles to support JLL's Net Zero goals
Forge and develop key strategic relationships with Fleet suppliers, vehicle manufacturers, leasing companies, fuel/energy suppliers, and service providers on behalf of JLL, ensuring long-term mutually beneficial and ethical partnerships while providing the business with access to supplier innovation
Provide expert advice and guidance to JLL Business leaders on Fleet management, procurement strategies, total cost of ownership, and sustainability outcomes
Ensure that all sourcing is undertaken in line with the overall category approach and procurement best practice
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Fleet Sourcing & Category Management
Lead complex global and regional sourcing initiatives in fleet, including supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and contract structuring for critical, high-value arrangements.

Manage large-scale global RFPs across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and procurement best practice
Deliver financial targets and identify opportunities to optimize fleet total cost of ownership
Manage procurement events, RFP processes, bid analysis, contract approvals, savings reporting, and compliance
Rationalize supply base and develop strategic supply partner framework, maintaining senior-level supplier relationships
Optimize fleet utilization, right-sizing, and vehicle lifecycle management
Develop and implement fleet policies, standards, and best practices globally
Sustainability & Fleet Transformation
Support transition of JLL's fleet towards lower-emission and zero-emission vehicles, developing transition roadmaps aligned with business requirements
Execute sourcing strategies for alternative fuel vehicles, electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, and energy supply requirements
Lead emissions data collection and reporting to support JLL's ESG and regulatory requirements
Partner with ESG leaders to deliver strategies supporting JLL's sustainability commitments
Track and report on Net Zero fleet objectives and emissions reduction metrics
Monitor market developments, government incentives, regulations, and emerging technologies
Stakeholder Management & Governance
Act as trusted advisor to Business Line COOs and senior stakeholders on Fleet strategy, performance, costs, and risks
Build cross-functional partnerships with Finance, ESG, Legal, Risk and Technology
Establish supplier governance, performance management, and risk mitigation frameworks
Prepare high-quality papers and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Ensure ethical standards and Global Procurement policy compliance
Sound Like You? To Apply You Need to Have:
Essential Experience & Knowledge
Deep Fleet procurement expertise managing complex, global Fleet categories including vehicles, leasing, fuel management, maintenance, insurance, and telematics
Manage large-scale global RFPs across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and procurement best practice
Strong understanding of Fleet total cost of ownership models, lifecycle management, and fleet optimization strategies
Knowledge of global Fleet markets, manufacturers, leasing companies, and service providers
Experience with fleet sustainability initiatives, including electric vehicles, alternative fuels, or emissions reduction programmes
Proven experience in electric vehicle fleet transition and fleet electrification programmes would be advantageous
Working knowledge of ESG principles, emissions reporting, and sustainability considerations
At least 5-7 years of Sourcing and Procurement experience with significant focus on Fleet category
Experience managing large-scale procurement or transformation programmes

Ability to work globally across multiple regions and business units
Strong procurement technical expertise with proven track record in strategic sourcing and global RFPs
Excellent communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders

Strong project management capabilities to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Proficient in MS applications with ability to work with large data sets and build reports
Experience with fleet management systems
As part of the role, individuals must have the flexibility to deal with projects in different time
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, ISM accreditation, or exceptional career progression to date

Estimated compensation for this position:
150,000.00 – 180,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
