Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Glass & Metal Shop Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong metal fabrication experience and working knowledge of storefront systems, herculite doors, and mirror cutting and polishing. This position involves fabricating, preparing, and assembling glass and metal components for commercial projects.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and assemble metal components for glass installations
• Work with storefront framing systems and aluminum extrusions
• Cut and prepare herculite (all-glass) doors for installations
• Cut and polish mirrors to precise measurements
• Measure, cut, and prepare glass and metal materials according to job specifications
• Operate shop tools and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with preparing materials for field installation crews
• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards

Qualifications:

• Required: At least 2 years experience working in metal fabrication
• Experience working with commercial storefront systems
• Knowledge of herculite door fabrication and hardware
• Experience cutting and polishing mirrors
• Experience working in a glass or metal shop preferred
• Ability to read measurements and basic shop drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a shop environment

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday – Friday

Location:

Pay:

$60,000 to $70,000 based on experience
