HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE…
As a General Production Worker, you will play a key role in supporting daily production operations by ensuring product quality, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and assisting with the efficient flow of production. Through teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to food safety and quality standards, you will help ensure products are manufactured and packaged according to specifications while supporting overall operational success.
WHAT YOU WILL DO…
- Continuously inspect products to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained.
- Rotate among various workstations and assignments within the designated production area as required.
- Remove damaged, broken, or unclean baskets and place them in designated storage areas.
- Cross-train in skill-equivalent positions to support operational flexibility and coverage.
- Communicate safety, food safety, quality, and equipment issues during shift transitions.
- Assist key production positions, including Utilities, Operators, and Baggers, when needed.
- Clean equipment and maintain work areas in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Housekeeping Practices (GHPs).
- Remove trash and ensure work areas remain safe, organized, and sanitary.
- Follow all Job Safety Analysis (JSA) requirements, plant policies, safety procedures, and food safety standards.
- Build positive working relationships and communicate effectively with team members across departments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Area-Specific Responsibilities:
Dry Operations
Monitor product flow through feed conveyors and slicers.
- Prevent product jams by monitoring slicer infeed and discharge points.
- Pack finished products into cases according to specifications.
- Document lot codes and place cartons on designated equipment.
- Remove non-conforming bags from production lines.
Moulder Operations
Monitor panning processes to ensure proper dough placement.
- Collect dough weight information and enter data into production systems.
- Refill flour hoppers and monitor usage levels.
- Place pans as needed to address production gaps.
Packaging Operations
Straighten product before slicing operations.
- Monitor slicers to prevent line stoppages or product jams.
- Remove damaged or out-of-specification products from production lines.
- Rack products and pack into baskets according to specifications.
- Perform product inspection activities.
Processing Operations
Sort ingredients and raw materials as required.
Support platform operations and assist with processing tasks.
- Perform miscellaneous processing duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to product quality and food safety.
- Ability to follow plant policies, GMPs, GHPs, safety regulations, and food safety procedures.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout a 12-hour shift.
- Ability to frequently reach, grasp, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to occasionally lift products weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules as needed.
- Ability to work safely in an environment that may include noise, dust, and slippery surfaces.
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)
- Previous food manufacturing or food production experience.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or operations environment.
- Familiarity with GMP, food safety, and quality standards.
- Experience operating pallet jacks or other basic production equipment.
- Ability to learn multiple workstations and adapt to changing production needs.
- Experience performing product inspections or quality checks.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: 8 -12-hour shifts
Breaks: Two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute meal period per shift
Overtime: Required as business needs dictate
Work Environment: Manufacturing facility with controlled temperatures, moderate noise levels, dry ingredient dust exposure, and potential slippery surfaces.
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
