Job Description

NW Industrial Staffing is currently seeking General/Mill Rover an assignment in Noti, OR. This is a 90-day contract with the possibility of moving to evaluation to hire with one of Lane County’s leading employers that specialized in timber manufacturing.

What we are seeking:

• 2+ years of work experience in a production experience in a manufacturing facility.
• 1+ year of experience in wood manufacturing (preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while paying attention to detail.
• Practice consistent and robust safety policies.
• Must be flexible and able to work as much overtime asked to work.
• Great aptitude for learning machinery that is used in wood processing and production.
• Previous experience using skill saws, hand, and power tools.
• Able to learn to operate industrial sanding machines.
• Willing to learn their glulam process.
• Can stand, stoop, bend, push and pull for an 8-to-10- up to 12 hour shift.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. to 75 lbs. on a semi-consistent basis.
• Have great work ethic, attendance, and punctuality.
• Work as part of a diverse team.

JOB DETAILS:

• Location: Veneta, OR
• Shift: Days
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Hours: 5:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (expect overtime)
• Pay Rate: $24.53/h
