General Manufacturing Worker

We are hiring a General Manufacturing Worker to join our team! Voss Belting and Specialty Company is a specialty belt house providing quality solutions for flat conveyor belts, timing belts, and high temperature fabric since 1934. We are an ISO 9001:2015 certified distributor and fabricator of conveyor belts and related products.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various operations related to the production of our products

• Measuring, cutting, use of small hand tools (sanders, grinders)

• Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion

• Use of specialized equipment and techniques to fabricate conveyor belts in order to meet our customers specifications

• Adhere to safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Able to read and take measurements in both standard and Metric systems.

• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment, machines, and techniques

• Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time

• 1 year in a manufacturing environment required. 1-3 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.

**Physical Requirements: **

• Prolonged periods of standing in factory

• Must be able to lift 30lbs. at times

You should be proficient in:

• Packaging Experience
• Shop Math Skills
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
