• This position is responsible for developing and managing the overall maintenance functions for the facility.
• Coordinating maintenance activities with the production scheduling; protecting and ensuring proper manpower requirements forth maintenance department; ensuring effective understanding and use of Tyson CMMS System.
• Training and developing maintenance management (supervisors) and hourly team members.
• Assisting in the development and management of the plant maintenance budget.
• Promote and implement maintenance best practices to increase equipment reliability and reduce maintenance cost.
• Assisting the plant engineer in the development, implementation and management of the annual capital budget.
• Act as project manager on capital and maintenance expenditure projects to ensure proper project scope development, equipment specifications, equipment selection, costing, planning and scheduling installation and start up and commissioning.
• All these efforts will be directed towards the plant focus and direction of moving from a reactive interval-based maintenance organization to be a proactive condition based maintenance organization with world class maintenance performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to work all shifts if needed. Shift need can vary from A, B, and C shifts.

Education: Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline or equivalent significant work experience.

Experience: 3+ years’ work experience directing and managing preferred; proven people and leadership skills.

Computer Skills: Strong sound working knowledge of SAP, Workday and MS Office Suite.

Communicating Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
