As the General Manager (GM), you will provide leadership to your team and outstanding customer service to your clients, while managing a office portfolio. You are responsible for all aspects of client and tenant satisfaction. As the lead professional, you will also be responsible for preparing budgets and financial reports, managing TI and/or capital improvement projects, and developing your staff. You will be an excellent communicator (both written and verbal) to both building owners and tenants to ensure an ongoing, successful relationship.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Develop and implement annual operating budgets and capital plans and ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting. Analyze financial performance, prepare detailed reports, and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards across all managed operations.
Implement tenant satisfaction program, meet regularly with tenants to ensure successful program
Oversee competitive bidding process for all third-party contracted services and ensure compliance with JLL standards
Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development, supporting team members' career advancement and skill enhancement
All other tasks which may be required to comply with Property Management Agreements, local ordinances, or as necessary to ensure property operations.

Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree 7 and advanced degree a plus
Minimum of seven (7) years of commercial property management experience including recent experience managing office property
Must have strong financial acumen and experience preparing budgets, CAM reconciliations, and other types of related financial reports
Familiarity with building systems, lease negotiation, documentation and administration
Must have at least (3) years of management experience
New York Real Estate License is (required, within the first six months of employment, preferred)
Experience using a property management accounting platform, such as Yardi, Kardin or MRI is required

Preferred qualifications:

Professional certifications such as LEED GA, or equivalent industry credentials
Strong network of industry relationships and demonstrated thought leadership in real estate

Salary: $145,000-$175,000

Location - On-site presence is required

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

159,500.00 – 192,500.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
