Job Overview:
Position Summary
ATACO Steel Products is seeking a reliable and motivated General Laborer (age 18+) to support facility and grounds maintenance during the summer season. This position focuses on outdoor upkeep, light maintenance, and general support tasks. Hours may range from part-time to full-time based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care duties including mowing, trimming, and general grounds maintenance
- Assist with landscaping projects such as planting, mulching, weeding, and debris removal
- Support painting projects including preparation, painting, and clean-up
- Complete general facility upkeep tasks such as organizing, cleaning, and minor maintenance
- Safely use basic hand tools and approved light-duty equipment (training provided)
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Prior experience in landscaping, maintenance, or general labor is a plus but not required
Work Environment & Safety
- Work will be performed both outdoors and indoors areas
- Exposure to weather conditions including heat and humidity
- Use of basic tools and light-duty equipment only
Schedule
- Seasonal summer position
- Part-time to full-time hours available
- Flexible scheduling based on availability and workload
