Job Overview:
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Safely and efficiently perform various housekeeping and manual labor tasks throughout entire plant
- As directed by supervisor, fills in when needed in all areas of plant operation
- Safely operates mobile equipment when necessary
- Participates in any training that may be required to improve job performance or operating efficiency
- Write work orders for necessary maintenance and safety concerns
- Communicate to supervisor problems or areas of concern and coordinate work efforts with co-workers
- Assist in performance of minor maintenance tasks as directed by supervisor
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Job Qualifications:
- Must possess basic ability to read and write
- Should be capable of operation of mobile equipment
- Should have experience working around moving machinery
- Must be able to walk over rough terrain, stoop, reach, climb, kneel, and carry up to 60 pounds
- Position includes work, both indoors and outdoors, involving temperature extremes, dust, noise and humidity
- Regular attendance is required. Overtime may be required as determined by management
