Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for daily production on the production line that they have been assigned. They are responsible to ensure that all items are packaged according to the standards set forth by both the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read and follow blends and drum weights posted in work area.
• Clean and prepare drums for filling.
• Fill drums to pre-established weights.
• Sample multiple products correctly, as per standardized procedures.
• Fill out “In process Produced” and “Product Used” reports correctly.
• Lid, tag and palletize multiple finished products as per standardized procedures.
• Compute drum tares and plot results on a control chart.
• Understand and react to control chart rules.

• Have good Mechanical skills/aptitude
• Self-Motivated and willing to learn and adapt to a variety of situations
• Good planning skills and attention to details
• Good communication skills (oral and written)
• Leadership Qualities
• Must possess the ability to learn and be trained on new processes/procedures
• Have integrity, good moral character

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High School Graduate Preferred
• Knowledge of Order Processing
• HACCP
• GMP Practices
• Plant Safety
