Entry-level general labor/baler position at Beaverton Bag Plant with a wide variety of internal growth opportunities. We are looking for a motivated individual who is looking for a long-term career in a fast-paced production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who are safety-minded, mechanically inclined and understand the needs of the business while maintaining focus on customer satisfaction, quality and productivity. The primary function of the baler is to move and palletize pre-wrapped bundles of paper bags at the end of a bag production conveyor line.

This is a Union Facility.

Candidate Must Be Flexible to Work the Following Shifts:

Must be able to work occasional Saturdays and overtime as needed

Day Shift – 7:00am – 3:00pm

Swing Shift – 3:00pm – 11:00pm

Night Shift – 11:00pm – 7:00am

The Job You Will Perform:

Follow production order to stack 10-50 pound bundles on pallets
Utilize vacuum lift to move heavier bales from the discharge conveyor to pallets
Wrap bundles using paper gum tape
Occasional use of manual pallet jack
Sorting and lifting pallets
Baling 3-5 machine lines per shift
General housekeeping duties
Other duties as assigned

The Skills You Will Bring:

Ability to use basic tools such as t-handles and wrenches
Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs
Physical ability to stand 8 to 12 hours
