Pay: $16.00 per hour

Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Position Summary:

As a General Laborer/Bailer, you will be responsible for sorting recycling materials, operating the bailer machine, and assisting with general warehouse tasks. Your ability to work efficiently and follow safety protocols will contribute to a well-maintained and organized warehouse environment.

Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:

• Sort recyclable materials and ensure proper disposal.
• Operate the bailer machine safely and efficiently.
• Assist with general labor tasks such as moving materials and warehouse upkeep.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in warehouse or general labor preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.
• Strong attention to safety and ability to follow instructions.

Skills Required:

• Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Strong work ethic and ability to perform physical labor.
• Basic organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position may include lifting and carrying heavy items, standing, bending, and operating machinery for extended periods. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Internal and External Interaction:

This position requires regular interaction with warehouse staff, supervisors, and occasionally with vendors to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
