This position involves operating finishing machines to cut and shape small abrasive products to precise manufacturing specifications. Operate finishing machines to cut and finish small parts to required specifications
Monitor product quality to ensure proper size, shape, and finish
Perform routine measurements to maintain consistency and accuracy
Maintain steady production output to maximize earnings
Record production totals and follow work order requirements
Follow all safety and quality procedures

Position Overview
The Batch Mixer is responsible for accurately weighing, mixing, and preparing abrasive materials according to established formulations and production standards. This role ensures consistency, quality, and timely delivery of mixed materials to support manufacturing operations.
**Primary Responsibilities: **
Ensure all materials are properly combined to meet quality and consistency standards
Supply completed batches to press operators in a timely and organized manner
Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of materials and use of PPE
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with company standards
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous manufacturing or mixing experience is a plus
Basic math skills for weighing and measuring materials
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift and move materials as needed (typically up to 50 lbs.)
Comfortable working around machinery, dust, and industrial materials
Work Environment
Manufacturing/production setting
Exposure to dust, noise, and industrial equipment
Use of personal protective equipment required
