Responsibilities

• Sort and categorize recyclable materials, ensuring proper handling and processing.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials from trucks and containers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Operate basic machinery and equipment as needed, following all safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge of recycling processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous experience in a labor-intensive role

• Mechanical aptitude required- backyard mechanics welcome

• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
