We are seeking dependable General Laborers to join a manufacturing team specializing in steel products. This position will focus on preparing buoys and steel fencing for the painting process. Responsibilities include cleaning, prepping, and handling steel products to ensure they are ready for paint application.

Employees will work in an industrial environment and will be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator and protective coveralls or a "bunny suit." Due to respirator requirements, employees must be clean-shaven in areas where the respirator seals against the face.

No prior painting experience is required. Candidates should be comfortable performing physical labor in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare steel buoys and fencing for the painting process.

• Clean, sand, and prep metal surfaces as needed.

• Move and position steel products throughout the work area.

• Assist with general production and material-handling duties.

• Follow all safety procedures and workplace guidelines.

• Properly wear required PPE, including respirators and protective coveralls.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.

• Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment.

• Must be able to wear a respirator and protective coveralls.

• Must meet clean-shaven requirements in the respirator sealing area to ensure a proper fit.

• Ability to follow safety instructions and production procedures.

• Previous manufacturing, metalworking, sanding, or painting preparation experience is a plus but not required.

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Compensation & Schedule

• Base Pay: $23.00 per hour.

• Night Shift Differential: Additional $4.00 per hour.

• Total Pay: $27.00 per hour.
