Rogers Group, Inc., headquartered in Nashville, is a privately held aggregates and asphalt highway construction company operating in 12 states with over 3,000 employees. RGI, established in 1908, has the distinction of being recognized as the largest privately held aggregate producer in the United States.

We have 86 quarries and 56 asphalt plants across Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio.

Rogers Group is currently seeking General Laborers to work out of the Greer, SC area. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

  • Operate a variety of heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Perform daily pre and post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
  • Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
  • Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
  • Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • Wages starting at $21.00/hr. for entry level candidates. Some positions require no experience and Rogers Group will train. Higher pay for skilled operators of heavy equipment with quarry or mining experience. A shift differential is offered in addition to regular wages. 
  • Overtime available and extensive medical and retirement benefits.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a dedication to safe work practices.
  • Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Must be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
