Job Summary
This factory position works as part of a team in the cutting, sealing, gluing, and packaging of manufactured components to support the production process. Following company safety requirements and quality system standards is required. Flexibility of daily job demand tasks and keeping the work area clean and orderly is required.
Essential Functions
Job Responsibilities
- Cut, seal, glue, and/or package product to daily demand requirements.
- Inspect incoming components before the welding process.
- Load dies onto RF Welder.
- Load components into welder and racking.
- Perform and prioritize work according to work orders.
- Perform cutting, welding, and glue tests before production begins.
- Troubleshoot issues surrounding the cutter, clicker press, RF Welder, and glue station.
- Perform in-process/final inspections of products to customer specifications.
- Attend in-house or off-site workshops, seminars, and conferences as needed to increase or maintain knowledge of position.
- Maintain accurate and legible records.
- Ensures and follows safety requirements and standards.
- Ability to keep the work area clean and orderly.
- Performs all duties in a manner that follows, demonstrates, and promotes Company’s values.
- Report to work as scheduled, on time, and able to work entire work schedule.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability
- Skill and ability to pay attention to detail with a focus on quality.
- Ability to use hand tools such as hand roller and box knife.
- Ability to safely use equipment such as hydraulic press, RF Welding machine, and gluing equipment.
- Willingness to learn and understand Radio Frequency Radiation Welding techniques.
- Possess effective written and oral communication skills.
- Highly adaptable and responsive to changing business needs.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of quality processes including measurements, documentation, and final inspection.
- Basic computer skills.
- Able to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to observe and identify details.
- Ability to work extended hours as scheduled, including weekends.
Physical Demands
- Frequent wrist manipulation and grasping, walking, and standing.
- Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and twisting.
- Frequent light work with lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Occasional medium work with lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to complete all physical requirements to perform essential functions.
Qualifications
Experience
- Required:
- Experience and proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
- Preferred:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with machine operation and packaging of products.
Working Environment
- Standard working conditions include an indoor manufacturing environment.
- Paint Prep Dept: Exposure to heat ranging from above ambient to extreme temperatures.
