We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Lab Technician to support daily laboratory and facility operations through equipment coordination, inventory management, documentation control, and general laboratory support activities. This onsite role involves coordinating maintenance and service activities, managing chemical and sample inventories, supporting procurement and logistics, and ensuring laboratory readiness through SOP maintenance and compliance with safety practices. The ideal candidate has foundational laboratory experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with scientists, vendors, contractors, and site visitors.
Job Responsibilities
• Coordinate service contracts and generate purchase orders for facility and laboratory maintenance services.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair services for laboratory equipment.
• Coordinate and escort guests, contractors, and service engineers; provide site orientation or safety training as required.
• Assist scientists with ordering laboratory supplies, office supplies, and chemicals.
• Arrange, track, and receive shipments and oversee receipt of inbound shipments.
• Manage chemical and sample inventories.
• Maintain laboratory documentation, including notebooks, data binders, and instrument service records.
• Assist with updates to the approved supplier list.
• Perform routine laboratory support tasks, including washing glassware, disposing of waste, and managing supplies such as dry ice, lab coats, PPE, gas cylinders, and liquid nitrogen.
• Draft, review, and update laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Education & Experience
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline preferred.
• 0–2 years of relevant laboratory, technical or operations support experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device environments preferred.
