We are hiring General Assemblers for manufacturing operations in Fenton and Howell, Michigan. These positions are ideal for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, using tools, learning new skills, and contributing to the creation of high-quality products. Whether you come from manufacturing, construction, automotive, warehousing, maintenance, landscaping, fabrication, farming, or another hands-on field, your experience may be a great fit.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble walls, floors, roofs, ceilings, and other structural components
  • Work with materials including wood, steel, sheet metal, drywall, plastics, and composites
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment
  • Read blueprints, drawings, layouts, and work instructions
  • Measure, cut, fit, position, and install materials according to specifications
  • Install doors, windows, framing, and structural components
  • Perform quality inspections using tape measures, levels, squares, and other tools
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with teammates to meet daily production goals and deadlines

What We're Looking For

  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Ability to read a tape measure or willingness to be trained
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Comfortable working with construction and manufacturing materials
  • Ability to climb ladders throughout the workday
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and perform physical work throughout the shift
