We are seeking a mechanically inclined Chemical/Equipment Technician to support on-site gas, chemical, and slurry management operations. The role involves equipment operation, container change-outs, troubleshooting, maintenance, and quality support in a safety-focused manufacturing environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
Handle and change out gas, chemical, and slurry containers.
Operate and monitor gas and chemical distribution equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment and perform preventive and repair maintenance.
Use computer systems to support daily operations and customer requirements.
Support quality systems and follow established procedures.
Safely handle chemicals and equipment while following all PPE and safety requirements.
Complete required hazardous communication and safety training.
Work flexible shifts and overtime as required by business needs.
Physical Requirements
Walk up to 5–6 miles per day.
Lift up to 40 lbs.
Bend, kneel, and perform overhead reaching.
Occasionally climb tanker trucks using required fall protection.
Wear appropriate PPE, including respirators when required.
Successfully complete required fit-for-duty evaluations.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to read and speak English.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work safely in a chemical/manufacturing environment.
