About the Role:

  

The Game Assembler builds games by adding raw materials and sub-assemblies as products move along the production line. This role requires learning multiple operational processes, using various hand and power tools, and meeting safety, quality, and production goals. The assembler will also support continuous improvement initiatives.


Hours & Pay

Schedule: Monday–Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm. Overtime as needed on Fridays.
Pay Range: $16/hr.-$20/hr.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble game components on the production line, following manuals and instructions
  • Operate tools including air nail guns, air staple guns, screw machines, drills, sanders, and spray paint equipment
  • Fasten, position, and secure parts with bolts, screws, adhesives, and brackets
  • Sand, glue, apply decals, and inspect work for quality
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation
  • Put away incoming parts and move between stations as needed
  • Identify and communicate quality issues
  • Assist in updating build manuals and participate in continuous improvement

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing setting with exposure to moving parts, fumes, and moderate noise
  • Use of various hand and power tools required

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1–3 months related experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and diagrams
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changes in production needs
  • Basic carpentry/woodworking skills and familiarity with small power tools
  • Basic computer knowledge

Physical Requirements

  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and lift regularly
  • Lift/move: up to 10 lbs regularly, 25 lbs frequently, 75 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to distinguish colors
