This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks:
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
These General Mechanic positions may work in any department within the Forward Warehouse of this beef processing facility. Duties require standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching in all areas. Candidates must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders. Lifting of 70 pounds or more is required.

These positions operate in cold, damp, or hot and humid environments, ranging from 30°F to 105°F. Candidates must be mechanically inclined. Welding experience is preferred.

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson have a 180 days rehire waiting period and a 3 time limit.

Schedule
Hours: Sunday through Wednesday, 7:30 PM – 6:00 AM

Requirements
6 months of mechanical work experience listed in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.

(Qualifying candidates must take a tour before accepting a job offer.)
