Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Furniture Upholster to join our team in Toccoa. You will create high-quality upholstery, utilizing your skills with fabrics and hand tools. Enjoy a fast-paced environment with opportunities for overtime.

What You’ll Do

  • Stretch and secure webbing and fabric

  • Make custom upholstered furniture, using hand tools and knowledge of fabrics and upholstery methods

  • Draw cutting lines on material following patterns, templates, sketches, customer description, or blueprints, using chalk, pencils, paint, or other methods

  • Adjust or replace components like padding and springs

  • Fit and install upholstery on furniture frames

  • Measure and cut covering materials

  • Examine and repair defects in furniture

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with sewing and hand tools

  • Ability to work in a noisy and messy environment

  • Able to stand, bend, or twist during 8-hour shifts
