Job Description

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Furniture Movers / General Laborers to join our team. This position is responsible for safely loading, unloading, transporting, and moving furniture, appliances, boxes, and other household or commercial items.

The ideal candidate is physically capable, reliable, works well with a team, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload furniture, appliances, boxes, and other items
• Safely lift, carry, and move heavy and oversized items
• Wrap and protect furniture to prevent damage
• Use hand trucks, furniture dollies, moving straps, ramps, and other moving equipment
• Assist with residential and commercial moves
• Protect floors, walls, doors, and other property during the moving process
• Assemble and disassemble furniture as needed
• Secure items properly for transportation
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and moving truck
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
• Follow all safety procedures and proper lifting techniques
• Work overtime when necessary to complete jobs

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items
• Ability to perform physical labor throughout the workday
• Reliable and dependable attendance
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Previous moving, warehouse, delivery, or general labor experience is a plus, but not required
