Founded in 1989, Request Foods is a privately held, family-owned and operated frozen food manufacturer located in Holland, MI. We produce, package, and ship an assortment of frozen food entrees for Private Labels and National Brands for both the retail and food service markets. We are investing in the Company’s future – over the past year we have opened a new plant and cold storage business. Position Details

• 9:00pm - 5:30am (hours may vary)
• Monday - Friday + Saturday Availability 
• Daily Overtime

 Key Responsibilities:
 

• Stand up HILO driving experience - REQUIRED.
• Timely and accurately service area. 
• Operate lift truck in safe manner at all times.
• Responsible for the accurate picking and recording of production orders and the generation of the appropriate paperwork.
• Use computer terminal to look up inventory information.
• Assist with the proper unloading and storage of received material and ingredients when called upon.
• Maintain cleanliness of dry storage, cooler and dock areas.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed for forklift operations, product and ingredient storage (including load capacity), and other work practices to avoid and eliminate workplace hazards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 to 2 years of Hilo/Forklift experience preferred.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Stand-up forklift experience required.
• Must have proficient math skills.
• Must have basic computer skills.
   

Skills and Qualities:

• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Good organizational skills and detailed oriented.
• Lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work in cold environment (Freezer)
